Since 1945, The Southern Co. has been serving the petroleum and industrial equipment industry. Started originally as a division of the Dover Lift Company to install automobile lifts, we have grown and expanded our areas of expertise. Today, The Southern Co.'s primary focus is petroleum and industrial equipment sales, service and construction. We represent some of the world's leading manufacturers of retail and commercial dispensing equipment, lubricant supply systems, under and aboveground storage tanks, air compressors, and point of sale devices. Our primary marketing area is within a 150 mile radius of Memphis. We serve customers in Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Alabama, Louisiana,  and Kentucky. In December 1992, a new management team purchased The Southern Co. Since then, we have expanded our goods and services while maintaining our customer commitment. Our new 25,000 square foot warehouse and three acres of property have allowed us to inventory more equipment and parts.
